The truth of reality is that there is a WAR within us, a war in choosing between GOOD AND EVIL. The WAR of being obedient as against being disobedient to God our Creator.
We are created with the FREE WILL to choose between these elements, good or evil in everything we Think, Do or Say. God created us to freely choose to love and live for Him or not to do so, because of who He is and His compassionate love for us. He would rather we chose to love and live for Him, that we nurture and strengthen our relationship with Him and become filled with Wisdom to be able to discern between good and evil to make the right choice for our greater good.
In every choice we make as Humans, we have to try to weigh the effect of our decision to ensure we overcome and cross out the evil element based on its ripple effect on us or on other human beings.
This is very challenging and difficult to do, you would say; I know. You and I are not supposed to go down the road of making the decision on our own alone, because we can not. We must focus therefore on God Almighty through Jesus Christ the Messiah and Redeemer together with the Holy Spirit to choose Good deeds over Evil deeds.
God has endowed us with the Spirit of Truth and discernment within us to enable us to choose good over evil and the power to overcome sin. And we should be able to do so, but for the weakness of our MIND, where in the BATTLE is, due to lustful and unholy desires.
Since the Battle is in the Mind, we must awaken our Minds with the power of the Holy Spirit within us to uphold the Teaching and guidance of the Holy Spirit to enable us to choose Good against evil.
Be aware that there is so much deceit and falsehood in the world, but that no matter how similar to the truth it is, it is not the Truth. Only Good is Good and Only Evil is Evil. To make it easy, we should focus on our Almighty Father and the reason for our existence, then be courageous to be truthful in our dealings, knowing God is everywhere. He sees and knows everything; our thoughts as well. Even if we can not physically see Him, He watches over us and helps us along the path we take.
The existence of SIN is a true reality and the consequences or effect of Sin faces us each day of our lives. The choice to be in sin or out of sin is the War we are challenged with as humans throughout our earthly life.
Overcoming this challenge and winning the WAR within us, opens up the light filled pathway to our inheritance: Paradise Heaven.
So, we can say our earthly life is but a training or strengthening platform to push us into the transition to our full blown Spiritual Self. A little bit of polishing you would agree, before meeting our FATHER.
Jesus said ‘He who conquers shall have this heritage and I will be his God and he shall be my son’ (Revelations 21:7) ‘But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, the murderers, fornicators, Sorcerers, idolaters and all liars, their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur which is the second death.
Let us stay out of sin
