TRUST GOD 

As we do our best to understand who we are and our purpose in this world, we are faced with different stages of life. And life’s strokes meet us on the way with different presentations, some good and others not so good.  

Often when we are faced with unpleasant situations we cannot understand, we wonder why things unfold as they do. Why does God allow bad things to happen and not stop them? We get confused because we had committed all things to Him, believing in His protection and care. Yet, from time to time we feel this way and we question God, and Our Faith and Belief in Him.

During this storm, we strive to hold on to faith and belief. However, sometimes no matter how hard we try, the grip on faith loosens a bit and on some occasions the grip loosens more than we would want. No matter how life’s strokes presents itself in folds, God is closer to us than we can ever imagine.  Before we were born, there was a perfect plan and a path for each of us. The Lord declares “For I Know the Plans I Have for You‘, ‘Plans to Prosper You and Not to Harm You, Plans to Give You Hope and a Future. (Jeremiah 29:11) 

Our lack of understanding or belief cannot change God’s plan, everything happens the way God wants it. There is so much we do not know about; how God works or how our lives are going to turn out and how God loves us. But know this, as sure as the sunset, the waves of the Sea and the flights of the birds in the sky, surer still is God’s Love for us.

On both the smooth and rough roads of life, we must Trust God’s plan for our lives as the best for us; even if His plan is a mixed grill of Good and Bad events. For we know nothing of how our lives will unfold and end. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5)

Jesus Trusted the Will of the Father to do what pleases Him; when He said, “Let your will be done” (Matthew 26:39). And His resurrection and reign became fulfilled.  It is better to take refuge in God the Creator than to Trust in Man a creature, Who better to Trust?

To make Trusting God easy and achievable, we must through God’s grace align with God’s word to know that our purpose is to live for God. Everything is about God. Our minds and senses must be fixed on pleasing and worshiping GOD.

Understanding this makes it easier to Trust God’s Supremacy and control of Heaven and Earth. Trust in God also makes living less complex/complicated, as we just do the needful one day at a time with less stress than the world puts on us. Knowing and appreciating the Supremacy of God should give us the confidence we need to entrust our lives in His hands and like the waves of the sea or the gentle breeze that blows everywhere, we will be at peace with ourselves and living will become worth it. 

FOOD FOR THOUGHT BY A WISE YOUNG MAN.

A wise young man once wondered aloud and asked; “When you get on the bus, train or plane do you ever speak to the conductor/pilot to know if he has enough qualification to control the vehicle/plane? No, we don’t! We just get in and trust that they are in position to take us to our destination, we put our lives in the hands of a human being even with risk. 

How much more Trust does the King of kings, Lord of Lord warrant, the one that does all things well and never fails; how much more Trust for the one who can do no wrong, who does not lie, the one who stay same, the one who remain faithful. How much Safety should we feel knowing we belong to God?

We don’t really trust God the way we say we do, it shows in how we question God, GOD ARE YOU STILL THERE? ARE YOU STILL WITH ME, DO YOU LOVE ME? Just do what God says you should do; get into His presence. And the peace of God will reassure you as He reminds you. I Am Still Here”.

TRUST GOD, He owns everything; He is in CONTROL.
