WHO AM I ?

Once in a while, you must have paused…….

To ask yourself this question ‘WHO AM I? 

WHAT IS MY PURPOSE? WHY AM I HERE?

DO YOU REALLY WHAT TO KNOW?

From the first day of God’s work of creation to the fifth day, He created all things and filled the earth; then on the sixth day God said “Let us create Man in our own Image according to our likeness.” (Genesis 1:26). Then Man was created; Male and Female, God gave Man dominion over everything on Earth He had created, and God saw that everything He created was good. (Genesis 1:28- 31). So, who are you? You are God’s own.  Wonderfully made and GOOD for a mission and purpose.

God’s plan and purpose for you is to be in friendship with Him on earth and to have eternal life with Him in the highest HEAVEN; where He sits on His Throne. (Revelation 4:2-3) He desires that you use your free will to choose right and remain good as you were originally created. God is good and His image and likeness is in you, so you are good. To be created in God’s image and likeness means; to bear the Righteousness and Holiness of God i.e the good nature and character of God; to reflect His perfect character in good deeds and be the visible representative of the Invisible God, your Father and Creator.

This means you have God’s Spirit within you, this is your SOUL; wrapped around by a fleshly BODY (the Temple of the Holy Spirit). Do you not know that your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? YOU DO NOT BELONG TO YOURSELF. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

This Good Spirit and Nature in you commands that you live a life of Truth, good deeds, total obedience to God and total cooperation with the Holy Spirit as He guides you through life’s path to peace and happiness in Jesus Christ. Expressing the Good Nature in you is how you should live each day.

To do otherwise, is rejecting being a child of God and co-heir to God’s heavenly Kingdom.

There is no two ways about it; It is either You are Good; living in truth and obedience to God through Jesus Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit or You are Bad; rejecting guidance from the Holy Spirit, living a Contaminated and Corrupt life; not doing what is Right, not loving God back and your fellow Man.

Your Good Spirit and Nature created by God can remain Good, if with your Free Will you focus on Good Deeds and you choose to love God back, love yourself and your fellow Man. Or you can allow your Good Spirit to be Contaminated and Corrupt by choosing not to love God and not do as He commands through the Holy Spirit.

Each time you choose to do Wrong things; you BELITTLE YOURSELF and GOD’S IMAGE IN YOU. Then you walk away from God’s path, God’s Seal of Friendship and being God’s Child; to the detriment of you losing your Heavenly home where you belong with God, your Father, the Creator.

As God’s own Child you are DIFFERENT, set apart for God (Corinthians 6:17) so you cannot just DO WHATEVER YOU PLEASE. God said, “You are to be Holy for me as I the Lord, am Holy and I have set you apart from other people to be mine”. (Leviticus 20:26) Only Holiness leads to Godliness.

Holiness! This simply means a life pleasing to God on all levels; the Active and Passive obedience to God’s word. Human holiness rests upon right doing and truth (Psalm 15:1). It is purity of heart or dispositions, sanctified affections, piety, honesty, virtue with pure affection and moral goodness.  A Holy person is a good person, a person good to himself and other people. The key to living a holy life, first and foremost is to obey God in everything He says. Personal holiness is a work of gradual development. It requires watchfulness, prayer and perseverance (1 Corinthians 1:30)

Some will tell you it’s impossible, you cannot live a Holy life as commanded by God!

Of course, you can with the grace of God through Jesus Christ. 

Only do good deeds through Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit directs you.

If it were not possible to be holy, God will not ask of you to be Holy as He your God is Holy. (Leviticus 20:26)

Remember, you are a Holy Child from the Holy God Almighty, bearing His Image and Likeness.
