HOW TO LOVE GOD BACK

‘’Last Time we Talked About the Importance of Loving God Back,

Now We’ll see how to go about doing that’

How to Love God

Accept God’s love for you, revere Him, receive by faith the grace of God given to you through Jesus Christ; then believe and trust in God who loves you and created you in His image and likeness.

Knowing and Loving God

Knowing who you are as Gods beloved child is a starting point of knowing who God is; the creator of all things visible and invisible within Heaven and Earth. Knowing also that God loves you so very dearly and awaits to fellowship with you in a one on one relationship; should steer you into longing to know Him more and to love Him back.

The need to love God

To love God back is a graceful privilege and opportunity, as it opens Heaven’s door and eternal life. We love God because He first loved us (1 John 4:19)

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all you might. (Deuteronomy 6:5)

And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength and to love one’s neighbor as himself, is much more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices          (Mark 12:33)

To love God means to keep His word and walk according to his commandments.                                   For this is the love of God that we keep His commandments and his commandments are not burdensome (2 John 1:6, 1 John 5:3)

Whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected; by this we know that we are in Him (1 John 2:5)

So, the benefit is more for you and I, since God is God the Almighty, already in greatness.      Remember He created all things within Heaven and earth.

God’s Promises for Those Who love Him and keep His words

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)

So do not worry, saying What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek, first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:31-33)

He who did not spare His own son, but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things (Romans 8:32)

God promises to give us everything we need in our daily lives here in this temporary world.

Whats more, He also calls us to love Him back and show that love and care to others

Jesus said the greatest commandment is: “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength; and you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these’’ (Mark 12: 30-31)

God your Father and Creator awaits you to love Him back and be in friendship with Him.

No better time than NOW. Do not let the ice cream melt.
